"Mazda Mobility" program of assistance to the disabled

Mazda Canada Inc. is pleased to offer assistance for the purchase and installation on your vehicle, of driver assistance equipment to support mobility.

Program Rules


Eligible Vehicles

All new, and still unused, sport utility vehicles and passenger cars.

Description of the program

Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) will pay a cash rebate of up to $ 750 to help cover the costs of purchasing and installing on all eligible Mazda vehicles, apparatus for driving assistance or mobility assistance equipment. The purchase and installation of equipment whose cost is below the limit of $ 750 will be reimbursed at actual cost, while the maximum rebate of $ 750 will be paid for any purchase or installation of equipment whose cost is higher than the limit.

To be eligible for payment, the buyer or lessee must complete the "Application for reimbursement of Mazda assistance program to the disabled ", attach the required documents and send to the following address:

All refunds will be paid directly to the buyer or lessee. To be eligible for payment, the customer must send the completed application form to Mazda Canada Inc. within three (3) months following the acquisition of their vehicle.

The required documents:

  1. Please complete the " Mobility Aid Claim Form " and send it to Mazda Canada Inc. together with the following documents;
  2. A legible photocopy of a signed contract of sale or lease provided by your Albi Mazda dealer
  3. A legible copy of paid invoices on the mobility equipment aids installed by a qualified installer on the vehicle purchased
  4. A statement by a medical professional stating the reason of the need for mobility assistance

Other requirements:

  • Only the original owner of the vehicle qualifies
  • Changes made to the facilities and vehicle must be made by the original owner or a member of his immediate family
  • There can be only one claim per vehicle

The exceptions:

  • All accessories such as tubes running boards
  • Automatic transmissions
  • All mobility equipment is not permanently attached to the car
  • Any other equipment, according to Mazda Canada Inc.., Does not meet the requirements of the "mobility" of Mazda

Important Information:

The customer is solely responsible for the choice of the manufacturer and installer of the mobility equipment.
Mazda Canada Inc. or its dealers are not responsible for the guarantee of mobility equipment and installation. In the province of Quebec, a legislative resolution stipulates that the person should consult a rehabilitation specialist to conduct an assessment prior to making changes to the car.
