Mazda Graduate Program

Eligibility to the program

This program is for recent graduates of a university or college / CEGEP and who want to purchase a Mazda. They will get a discount on top of all other programs.

Eligible clients

Canadian residents who have graduated in a period of two (2) years preceding the delivery of the vehicle, a Canadian college (a 3 year technique DEC only) or a recognized Canadian university (see the list of eligible institutions ). The eligibility period is determined from the date shown on the official transcript.

  • All Mazda2 : 300 $
  • All Mazda3 : 400 $
  • All MazdaSpeed3 : 500 $
  • All Mazda5 : 400 $
  • All Mazda6 : 500 $
  • All MX-5 : 1 000 $
  • All CX-5 : 400 $
  • All CX-7 : 500 $
  • All CX-9 : 1 000 $
The cash-back amount will be used as a down payment. The amount should be deducted from the final selling price, including taxes.

Eligible Schools * and eligible degrees

  • University: undergraduate degree (BA) or graduate degree (Masters, PhD). ** Minimum duration of study program: 3 years
  • Community College (outside Quebec): Diploma. Minimum Curriculum: 2 years
  • CEGEP (Quebec): Diploma of college studies. Minimum duration of study program: 3 years
* Recognized by Provincial Ministry of Education
** For higher education, the cycle time may be less than 3 years.

Notes: Graduates who studied abroad are also eligible. However, evidence that the school is accredited by the appropriate government agency may be required. Certificates and certificates are not eligible. The eligibility period is 90 days after new vehicle delivery.

Proof of eligibility

  • Copy of the official transcript of the college or university showing the Graduation date (a copy of the diploma is not eligible for the Mazda Graduate Program) or a letter from the registrar's office with the name and duration of the curriculum and graduation date OR, if the degree is not yet obtained a letter from the Registrar's Office confirming graduation during the qualification program. The letter must include the name and duration of the program.
  • Copy of purchase contract or lease of the vehicle
  • Copies of the document for the vehicle (and vehicle permit, if possible) on behalf of the student / applicant.

Elements of the program

Mazda Canada Inc. pays a cash-back to an eligible party which includes all applicable taxes. (GST / QST / HST)

General Provisions

  • A client cannot obtain a rebate more than once.
  • Only one cash pay out per degree.
  • Client of programs A, Z, X cannot participate in the Mazda Graduate Program.
  • Vehicles sold under the Special Fleet Program are not eligible.
  • Mazda Canada Inc. reserves the right to modify, reverse or discontinue, at any time, any provisions of this program.
